INTEGRATED PARAMETRIC SYSTEMS

Some projects require more than a single feature wall.

When walls, ceilings, seating, desks, or relief systems are intended to work together, they must be developed as one coordinated fabrication package. Proportion, geometry, spacing, and installation sequencing are defined together so the space reads as a unified system.

This pathway is structured for multi component parametric interiors, as well as MDF and plywood relief panel systems developed and fabricated by Fomra.

When This Pathway Applies

This pathway applies when combining two or more of the following:

Integrated feature millwork refers to custom fabricated architectural elements that are geometrically coordinated with Fomra parametric wall or ceiling systems and supplied as part of the same manufacturing scope.

Each element is developed to align geometrically and dimensionally with the others within the scope of Fomra’s fabricated components.

Why Parametric Interiors Are Trending

Design is moving away from flat surfaces. Minimalism had its run, and now interiors are shifting toward form, tactility, and visual movement. Parametric design brings that energy through geometry that feels alive, echoing ripples, dunes, waves, and topography. These installations create atmosphere and transform ordinary surfaces into experiences. The result is interiors that are bold, modern, and unforgettable.

What This Includes

Under this pathway, Fomra provides:

All work is limited to the fabrication and documentation of Fomra supplied components.

What This Does Not Include

Unless separately contracted in writing, Fomra does not provide:

Integration with base building systems and field conditions remains the responsibility of the project architect, consultants, and construction team.

From Vision to Reality - Simple & Transparent

1

Submit drawings, dimensions, and intended scope.

Via our intake form. Include photos, dimensions, inspiration, sketches/drawings. (No payment yet.)

2

System Geometry Development

Based on your material selection, finish direction, and budget parameters, we establish how walls, ceilings, and feature elements align and transition as a unified system.

3

Technical Coordination & Shop Drawing

We align the approved geometry with site conditions and prepare shop drawings based on the drawings, dimensions, and information provided by the client or project team.

Third party integrations such as lighting, AV or IT elements, electrical outlets, and other project specific requirements are incorporated as communicated. Installation sequencing is defined at this stage.

If an architect, engineer, or contractor is involved, we coordinate with them directly. If not, we work with your designated installer.

Fabrication proceeds only after shop drawings are reviewed and approved. Accuracy of field dimensions, site conditions, and third party coordination remains the responsibility of the client and their project team.

4

Fabrication, Delivery + Install Support

After shop drawings are approved, fabrication begins at our facility. All components are CNC machined, finished, and quality reviewed before being securely crated and shipped through third party carriers across North America. Insurance is recommended for high value shipments.

Each order includes a detailed installation guidance package with numbered layouts, sequencing diagrams, and mounting instructions. Remote phone or video support is available if clarification is needed.

Installation is the responsibility of the client or their designated professionals. Fomra does not provide on site supervision and does not warrant installation performed by others. Full terms apply.

Suitable Project Types

For  projects seeking continuity across surfaces and elements, this pathway offers an organized approach to development and fabrication.

Professional Coordination

Fomra provides fabrication and coordination for its manufactured components as defined in the approved scope. Structural design, engineering review, code compliance, and base building integration remain under the direction of the project architect, client, and consultants.

All proposals are subject to Fomra’s Standard Terms and Conditions.
